Installation
Install the portable Voidlink and Voidlens builds on Windows.
Voidlink and Voidlens both ship as portable ZIP files. There is no installer. You unzip them, run Voidlink, and point it at the Voidlens folder.
Download the builds
From the download page, enter your license key and download:
- Voidlink, the app and launcher.
- Voidlens, the radar plugin for your game version.
Choose a permanent location
Unzip each archive into a folder you will keep, for example C:\Games\Voidlink and
C:\Games\Voidlens. Do not run them from inside the ZIP, and do not leave them in your
Downloads folder, because the in-app updater overwrites files in the folder where the app runs.
First run and SmartScreen
Run Voidlink.exe. Because the build is not code-signed, Windows SmartScreen may show an
unknown publisher warning the first time:
- Click More info.
- Click Run anyway.
Voidlink automatically clears the Mark-of-the-Web block on the Voidlens folder, so you usually do not need to unblock those files by hand.
Where your data lives
Voidlink stores its settings, calibration, and license in your Windows user profile under
%APPDATA%\Voidlink. Voidlens keeps its settings and lists in its own
data folder. Updates preserve both, so you never lose your configuration.
Uninstalling
Since there is no installer, removing Voidlink is just deleting its folder. To remove your settings
as well, delete %APPDATA%\Voidlink. To deactivate the license on a machine, sign out
in the app first so the key can be moved elsewhere.
