Updates

How Voidlink and Voidlens update themselves while your license is active.

Voidlink is the single update orchestrator. It updates itself and the Voidlens folder it launches. Updates are gated by your license, so a current build always needs an active subscription. This is also what keeps the radar working after a game patch changes memory offsets.

Checking for updates

Open the Home tab and press Check for updates. Voidlink compares your installed versions against the latest published builds and shows the current version, the latest version, and the release notes for each of Voidlink and Voidlens.

Updating Voidlink

When a new Voidlink build is available, press Update & restart. Voidlink downloads the gated archive, verifies its checksum when one is published, extracts it, swaps the program files, and relaunches. Your settings live in your user profile, so nothing is lost.

Self-update only works on the packaged portable build, not when running from source. Always run the unzipped build, not a development checkout, for updates to apply.

Updating Voidlens

Voidlens updates in place. Voidlink stops it so its files unlock, downloads the new build, verifies the checksum when present, and swaps the folder while preserving your data directory. Then you relaunch Voidlens. Your watched lists, tracked tiles, and settings carry over.

After a game patch

Path of Exile patches can shift the data the radar reads. When that happens, a Voidlens update with refreshed offsets is published. Keep your license active and check for updates after each patch to stay current.

If an update fails

  • Close Voidlink and Voidlens fully, then try again. Locked files are the most common cause.
  • Make sure the app folder is not inside a synced or protected location.
  • Confirm your license is active on the account page.
  • If it still fails, see troubleshooting or contact support.
